In the past 3 months my husband and I have decided to move to a new home half the size of our current one. This gave us the task of letting go and purging those items we have gathered over the years. We had yard sales, made donations, and gave to family and friends. Now the time has come – we are on the eve of moving and it is exciting to start a new adventure. Even more exciting to do it with less baggage (literally) and attachments to the stuff of life.

I was reminded of a book by Wayne Dyer Change Your Thoughts—Change Your Life: Living the Wisdom of the Tao, where he just walked out of his apartment and left everything behind to start new in Maui. There is something freeing about walking away from stuff, or more so, the attachment to the stuff. I highly recommend it.

When deciding what Bunny Daze to draw today the visual of Steve Martin from the movie “The Jerk” popped into my head as I was carrying some of my belongings out. If you know the movie you’ll know what I mean.
