Make Your Mark
The blank page. It is always that first mark that gets me. It can stop me in my tracks. Put me off for days. I have ideas flying around my head begging to get out on the page, but there it sits the clean piece of paper begging you not to make a mistake. You want it to be perfect from the first dot. Then it happens, you make the dot and it all melts away. You get into the zone and everything is flying out on the page as you had hoped it would. There is no feeling like it. The best comparison I can think of is meditation a place of pure joy. So grab that pencil, pen or brush and make your mark!
